Clean and Snatch pulls, from the floor or from the hang. These target shoulder elevation. They beautifully enlarge the Trapezius, neck muscles , and upper back axial muscles. 

The Pulls differ from Deadlifting in distributing the weight on wider span of the thoracic vertebras, due to the rotation of the scapulas around the shoulder joints. The Pulls intend to strengthen the lower phases of lifting. They strengthen the chain of links during moving the weight above the kneecaps until it passes the pubic  area.
