Mission Statement

The current state of strength training in public health clubs is, at best, very dismal.  Health clubs aim at making profit in order to pay their bills and fulfill their owners' desire to stay in business. Thus, many new beginners find themselves disappointed after newly  joining a health club and hoping to get some help in structuring their workout plans.

The first salesperson you meet in a health club would try forcefully to sell you a training plan for something like $99 for three personal training sessions. Even if you commit yourself to such expensive deal, you most probably will find yourself in an endless cycle of wasting your money and getting nowhere, or may be shedding few pounds then gaining them allover again.

In this web site, as well as in my book, I am trying effortlessly to stress my views that strength training is not that complex or unattainable at cheap and practical way.  My advice is always that you should pay attention to nature. The example of the farmer is my best way to demonstrate that strength training is about whole body strengthening.

You do not get strong by training isolated muscles. You get strong when your heart could stand the force of lifting weight for substantial periods of time and returning back to normal afterwards without any long or short term consequences.

Lifting from the floor,

standing on your own feet

and using your own hands,

and moving the weight full distance overhead,

is my revered mission in promoting strength training, the right and easy way.
