At any
age and at a vast scope of physical conditions overcoming difficulties
in getting healthy and strong does not cost any money.
If you share a
place on this planet and have no worries of being chased by aliens you
got the tools to get strong and healthy. Just hop on your toes
for few seconds. Take few minutes rest. Then repeat that simple
exercise. Few days later you might find out that it is getting
easier as days pass by.
I learned a lesson
in my forties, when I thought that new lessons are so not new at that
age. I started practicing leg kicking at the edge of the
swimming pool in semi supine position, almost laying on the back. A minute of kicking was
dreadful at the beginning. Many months passed by and my
endurance was plateau at less than two minutes. After almost 9
months, I got to that same stupid pool and started leg kicking for a
whole hour. Since then a breakthrough has occurred in my ability
to endure such tedious workout. Now, I can do it any time non-stop.
You definitely do not
need to wait for something serious to happen to overcome
difficulties. You just have to start soon. Learning about
you limitation and how to push the envelope further and further is an
ongoing long process that must start sooner than later.
